The basic aim of ketogenic diet is restriction of carbs. You have to limit both complex and refined carbs to just 5-10%, in your daily caloric intake allowance. The remaining calories are consumed through fat and protein. You are allowed to adjust 60-80% healthy fat in your diet and the remaining caloric amount is fulfilled through protein intake. Foods that have macronutrients in them, can only be taken in moderation. Many people take keto diet supplements as well. You can always consult a dietitian if you want to add keto diet pills to your routine.

Although keto does restrict you; there are still plenty of foods that you can eat and fulfill your cravings. You are allowed to eat starch free vegetables, some nuts and seeds, grass fed beef, some fruits, diary and dark meat chicken. These might sound boring and super limited, you can always combine them together efficiently, to kill those cravings and make some comfort food for yourself.
